Starship Hector, known as Hector '87 in Japan, is a vertical shoot 'em up video game developed and published by Hudson Soft for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Similar to Xevious, the player's starship has two modes of fire; one to tackle flying enemies and one for ground-based ones.
The main theme of Starship Hector can be unlocked as a music track (among other classic Hudson themes) in the Wii game Kororinpa.
